HISTORICAL SOURCES

They give us information about the past.

There are four different types of sources:

1.     PHYSICAL SOURCE: it is an object or a building. Archaeology studies the physical sources.

2.     GRAPHIC SOURCE: It is an image or video. They are films, paintings or photos

3.     ORAL SOURCE: It is information that passed from person to person. They are songs, tales, legends.

4.     WRITTEN SOURCE: it is a document that contains texts or a written message. They are books, newspapers or letters.
