MATTER
Wood, plastic, glass and metals are materials.
Matter is everything around you. It is everything that takes up space. Sometimes, we cannot see it, but it is matter, for
example, the air.
Each type of matter is a substance, such as air, wood or water.
Things that don’t take up space are not matter, for
example, light, sound, feelings.
